​Alaina received her Bachelor of Science degree and Master degree in Education from SUNY Plattsburgh. In college, she pursued a focus in composition studies, completing an action research project on the effect of tutoring on students' self-efficacy. She's taught middle school in Manhattan for 8 years, working with all grade-levels and across different subject areas. Alaina specializes in working with middle and high school students with a variety of learning profiles in English Language Arts and executive function coaching. As a tutor, Alaina prides herself in building strong relationships and tailoring instruction to the needs of each client.
