Amanda received a Bachelor of Art in Physics from Gustavus Adolphus College in Saint Peter, MN, and a Masters in Education from Pace University in Science & Physics.  Amanda is certified to teach grades 7-12 math and physics since 2012. She currently teaches physics at Millennium Brooklyn High School where half her classes are integrated co-taught to better serve students with special needs. During the summer of 2019, Amanda taught abroad in India under the Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms Fellowship program where she exchanged ideas about science education in special education with her host school.
