Summer 2024 Expository Writing Workshops - Rising Grades 5 - 12

In our small-group writing workshops, students come together in a supportive, relaxed environment to

practice this essential skill without the usual pressure of a traditional school day. 

During this workshop, students will engage in a structured writing approach starting with sentence work

and progressing through to outlining paragraphs and writing multi-paragraph outlines for essays. They will

receive templates they can use for future writing assignments in addition to developing and completing

their own, peer-edited essays. Students will emerge more confident with the writing tasks required of them
