About the event

We invite you to join us for our upcoming, free, in-person panel discussion, Supporting Teens Who Suffer Socially. This event will be hosted at the Gateway School and we are honored to have the Gateway School's Senior Psychologist, Dr. William Harrison join us along with panelists Dr. Marc Fowler; Dr. Kristin Long; Dr. Scott Palyo; and Sharon Thomas, MSc, MSEd. This dynamic discussion will address the social/emotional, parenting, and academic needs typically seen in adolescents experiencing social struggles. Whether you are a parent or a professional, you will leave this presentation equipped with knowledge and resources.

Topics discussed will include:

  • How to identify if your teen is suffering socially
  • Understanding what can cause a teen to struggle with social situations
  • Strategies for helping your teens
