Writing Jumpstart Program - Rising Grades 2 - 4

MAIA is excited to offer a targeted, small-group writing program that blends key areas of executive

functioning development with a systematic, skill-building writing approach. In this workshop, students will

be exposed to and follow a spiral curriculum that builds upon foundational writing and executive function

skills progressively. Aligned with 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade writing benchmarks, students will practice critical

writing skills and build upon a toolbox of executive function strategies that can be applied across other

academic areas.
